Cooks & Soldiers: Fêtes de Bayonne Festival, Atlanta, GA
Santé! Join Cooks & Soldiers to celebrate Fêtes De Bayonne. Fêtes De Bayonne is a series of festivals that traditionally takes place in the town of Bayonne, France. Being the largest festival in France, its attendees dress up in red and white to celebrate the "big summer festival" with fireworks, parades, music, and street performance.
I created the poster for the event at Cooks & Soldiers. The restaurant draws its inspiration from the people and the cuisine of the Basque Country in Spain and France. Bright colors, fun accessories, and endearing expressions welcome the guests to enjoy the event at C&S with a bang!
In honor of the festival, specialty dishes include “King Leo” salad, bell pepper omelets, meats and seafood a la plancha, and millefeuille for dessert. Guests will enjoy traditional Basque music, images from past festivals, interactive grilling on the patio, Bayonne-themed décor and more. To attend, guests must take part in the traditional ritual of donning their best blanc – or white – outfit, and accessorize with traditional red kerchiefs provided by Cooks & Soldiers.
Displayed above is the menu used for the day of the event!
