Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), Atlanta, GA

Wonderroots activist screen print studio asked Lennie Gray Mowris and myself to create designs in response to immigrant’s rights. Lennie’s design is in Spanish; mine in English. Patrons of the Museum of Design Atlanta were able to come up to each station and screen print  posters that shared tips on dealing with ICE agents.

The interactive workshop space is centered around typography and design as a means for community information sharing. In response to the removal of programs like DACA, we must find new routes to activate change within our communities.

We must continue to educate ourselves. We must continue to empathize and cultivate kindness within our communities. Let’s be advocates for those changes in our daily lives.
